Three venues, one brand, 60 million+ views
Saporitalia sits on Portobello Road in London. When we started, it was three separate businesses with three names and one small audience. We rebuilt the brand, the website, the menus and the shopfront screens, then made the content that put it in front of millions.

venues rebranded as one restaurant
Where they started
The site at 271 Portobello Road was trading as three businesses: Saporitalia, Casa Desserts and Portobello Garden. Each had its own name, its own look and its own social accounts, so the people who loved one part of it never found out about the rest.
The main Instagram had around 900 followers. The food was good and Portobello Road brings thousands of people past the door every weekend, but nothing tied the venues together or gave anyone a reason to look them up before they arrived.
One family of brands
We brought everything under the Saporitalia name and designed a new crest: roses and lemons over a classic Italian shop-sign frame, in deep wine red and cream.
Each part of the restaurant keeps its own identity inside the family, so the garden, the dessert counter and the oyster bar on its way all read as Saporitalia at a glance.
- Saporitalia Ristorante
- Saporitalia Garden
- Saporitalia Dolci (formerly Casa Desserts)
- Saporitalia Oysteria

A website that fills tables
We designed and built saporitalia.co from scratch: one site for the whole restaurant, with a page for each venue and every route to booking a click away.
Every menu lives on the site too, kept current, including the chef's specials.
- Venue pages for the Ristorante, Garden, Dolci and Oysteria
- Every menu online, kept up to date
- Table reservations, private hire and gift vouchers
- Designed for phones, where people on Portobello Road decide where to eat

Every menu, redesigned
We redesigned the printed menus to match the new brand: a four-page food menu covering antipasti, pasta, pizza, secondi, sandwiches, the kids' menu and the full dessert counter, and a set of tall drinks cards for wine, champagne, cocktails, spritz, coffee and matcha.
Same crest, same wine-red frame and cream paper as the website and the window screens, so the brand looks the same from the street to the table.

Screens and posters that stop passers-by
Portobello Road is one of the busiest streets in London at the weekend, so the shopfront is advertising space. We designed a portrait digital window display for the Dolci end of the restaurant, with one job: stop people walking past and pull them inside.
It's an 18-slide loop in the new brand, weighted towards desserts because that's what people see from that end of the window, with pasta, pizza, seafood and the happy-hour offer for anyone catching it from the street.
The same look carries into print, with offer posters like Any Pasta for 2 bringing in midweek covers.

One audience, millions of views
We merged the three venues' social accounts so every post builds a single audience, then ran Instagram and TikTok together.
The biggest numbers came from a skit series with recurring characters people come back for. The first episode passed 16 million views, and each follow-up rode its audience.
Food filmed at scale
For food we film big batches made from scratch: the chef and a giant tub in the first frame, the process in order, and a long hold on the finished dish. Short plate shots get a few thousand views; scale and process are what break out.
Same video. 70x the views.
The same fresh-pesto video went up twice. Posted with trending audio, a descriptive “no jars, no shortcuts” caption and a Sunday-evening slot, it reached 803,000 views. Two days later the identical footage went up with original sound, a vague caption and a Wednesday-morning slot, and stopped at 11,300.
Nothing about the footage changed. We test like this on every account, and what we learn goes into every post after it.

Where they are now
Saporitalia's Instagram has grown from about 900 followers to more than 16,000, with over 9,000 more on TikTok. Its content has generated more than 60 million views, including 18.8 million in a single 30-day stretch in September and October 2026.
Most importantly, it's brought new customers through the door. Three venues that were splitting one small audience are now one restaurant with a brand people recognise, a website and menus to match, screens that work the street, and a feed that reaches millions.
